We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer (Part-time) 0.8FTE to join our growing passionate and professional team. They will be responsible for the procurement of materials, products and services required by the business.

Your duties would include:

  • Responsible for the procurement of materials, products and services required by the business ensuring compliance and industry standards are met, whilst optimising quality and value.
  • Researching new inventory, ensuring options are presented in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for purchasing any approved materials or products in a timely and efficient manner for prompt turnaround.
  • Responsible for the allocation or distribution of inventory to appropriate departments.
  • Negotiates with suppliers and services to good the best value or cost of the business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance. 
  • Maintain a good working relationship with Compliance Specialist to ensure PPE supplies are stocked, requests are ordered, and no equipment has expired.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed. Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock situations.

Your skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Strong organisation, planning & problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute and work within a team and build and maintain effective relationships.
